What is Bird's Nest?  



For centuries, bird's nest has been a chinese delicacy and has been consumed in china as bird's nest soup. Although bird's nest is from the saliva of the swiftlets, it contains high nutrition value and also known as "Edible Bird's Nest". 

The nest itself contains glyco-protein which promotes cell division within the immune system. From research, it is believe that the energy value per 100g of edible bird's nest is 345 kilocalories. The total protein content is about 85 percent with 0.3 percent of fat. Other minerals that are present in the bird's nest are calcium and iron. Amino acids isolated from bird's nest consists of amide, humin, arginine, cystine, histidine and lysine.

It produces an egg white smell and giving it a gelatinous texture,
smoothen our skin and provide us with a better skin complexion.
